Official game facts and current questions
- Official game ↗: the seven-round format, timing, and score/depth display.
- Official FAQ ↗: curation, rarity method, special gems, and answer-set limitations.
- Official public daily feed ↗: puzzle date, dive number, seven prompt texts, and reset timestamp.
- Official public reveal observations: 2026-10-15 ↗ . A link may later become unavailable; we retain a compact dated observation.
Tier names and point values are checked against the game’s published definitions and recorded answers. One point corresponds to ten meters in its dive display.
Historical archive and attribution
91 historical dives, from July 16, 2026 through October 14, 2026, are adapted from StruggleYang / krillion-dataset ↗, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International ↗. The linked revision identifies the source we imported. The dataset credits the public Krillion answers mirror ↗; each dated page also links to its corresponding record.
Our adaptations select answer examples, remove suspect groups, omit numerical totals, and add progressive character clues. The imported material is provided as available, without a warranty of completeness or accuracy. Attribution does not imply endorsement. The historical source is a community record, not a fresh official verification of every answer.
We found inconsistent totals in 325 of 637 historical prompts and 49 groups with more samples than their stated size. Suspect groups and embedded tier headings are excluded. Historical pages therefore show selected recorded examples, with no complete answer count, rarity distribution, or maximum-score claim.
Checks before publication
A date must be real, not in the future, and match its numbered place in the sequence beginning July 16, 2026. Every dive needs exactly seven distinct questions. Official answer sheets must match the daily feed’s date and prompt text. Recognized tiers must have their expected scores.
Historical imports reject duplicate dates, duplicate questions, unknown tiers, malformed groups, and dates outside the sequence. Each published question needs a usable example. We derive the three spelling clues from that exact example. These checks establish a consistent dated record; they cannot independently confirm every decision made by the original game.
How the clues are made
Editorial clues are our own writing, attached to an exact dated prompt and a specific official example. Changed prompts do not inherit those notes. Automatic character clues use the number of letters or digits, the first character, and the last character of one recorded example. Spaces and punctuation are excluded.
Historical clues are labelled as derived from the community archive. The separate answer reveal identifies the example’s recorded tier and score. Many other answers may fit; these clues do not validate a new answer or predict its rarity.
Freshness and saved coverage
The latest daily overview checks the official source through a shared five-minute cache when requested, and an open page checks periodically and after the New York reset. A newly confirmed dive receives a dated review link immediately. Complete official records can be retained in the permanent archive through our data sync.
The saved archive currently contains 92 consecutive dates, back to Dive #1. Imported historical timestamps identify when we imported the snapshot; official timestamps identify when we observed the data. If the live feed fails, the latest saved date stays visible with a notice. Old content is never relabelled as today’s dive.
What official counts mean
Where an official complete sheet is available, “recorded answers” counts its entries, not player submissions. Its recorded ceiling adds the largest score from each of seven sets. Sampled historical records cannot establish that ceiling, so those statistics are omitted.
